Then after dropped my friends at KK Mart Jalan Sentul, I wanted to turn into LRT Sentul station to my house area.
There was a friend, Karen beside me.
The street was too dark (around the T-junction church at Sentul LRT).
There was a traffic light that T-junction.
It showed green so I plan to turn left before it go to yellow.
I speeded.
Again, the street was really dark.
When I was on my road, my car was approaching the traffic light,
with the help of my car's front light,
suddenly I could see the dark area road,
on the middle of the road, there's a man lying there.
I managed to make immediate stop so that 我的车没有捏着他过！
I can't see him, he might be right in front or under my car.
In my mind, I tot someone crashed him and he was dead, or he was trying to make fake accident, or cheat money from us.
I reversed my car, to look properly his condition.
He lying there pretended he was injured!!!
OMG!!! I was a bit panic and Karen asked me to on the double signal.
I kept honking because I really do not know what to do and plan to make a police report.
There were some other cars behind me because I actually blocking the road.
The man hear me made hon, then slowly wake up and walk to roadside.
He looked like drunk or not normal human being.
He was in dark skin but I am not sure he was an indian or labor?
After he moved, I worried someone accuse that I crashed him.
What if when the next morning, he was found dead??
I drove my car near to Mini UTC.
So, Karen and I planned to make police report.
But the police station at Mini UTC was closed at these time.
I made a call to 999, told them the story.
The first call receiver direct the line to police after confirm with me that my sirname is 'Chan'.
I guessed he checked it using telephone system.
The police hold my call and I told him the story again.
The police asked me "Orang tu apa bangsa?".
I said "Dia tak macam cina, tak macam melayu, saya tak pasti dia india ke apa."
Police: "Dia India lah. Dia mabuk ke?".
Me: "Saya tak tahu.Jadi apa saya perlu buat sekarang?"
Police: "Pergi tengok dia mabuk tak."
I was thinking: it's midnight, you want me to get down?? I actually left that place dy.
Me: "Ha? Saya dah tinggal tempat tu. Tempat tu gelap. Jadi apa saya perlu buat?"
Police: "Kamu terus perjalanan saja. Kami akan hantar polis ke situ."
Me: "Ok, so saya boleh balik rumah? Cepat pergi tangkap dia."
Then we end the phone call.
I used 20 minutes to cool down myself.
Then back home with my friend and her brothers.
I am safe now, but mentally shocked.
People, please drive carefully and slowly at dark street.
You do not know there's a human lying there waiting you to cross over him.
Thank god and thank to my Wira able to stop.
Just 0-30cm away, the man will be bloody body under my car tires.
I am not sure he is really drunk / tricks people / making fake accident / commit suicide.
It is really a good idea to have a car recording camera inside the car to protect you.
Always locked your door and dun get down from car whatever happen. Wait people come and help you.
And do not use your smartphone until low battery level. It cannot function as smart as it is when there is out of battery.
